In 2003, Pharmatoka provided the AFSSA (Agence Française de Sécurité Sanitaire des Aliments) with all the scientific elements pertaining to the cranberry in the form of an expert health report on the fruit.

This agency officially recognized the effectiveness of the cranberry, declaring (in 2004) a favorable opinion on its application in supporting the health of the urinary tract.

In 2004, urell® was the first product assayed at 36 mg PACs to be offered in pharmacies.
